Pros

They offer a fun work environment but serious enough to be professional and productive. Business casual work attire so no need to be in dress clothes every day. Caring management that is always flexible. Friendly supportive teams.

Cons

Low incentive pay outs, even when you reach the maximum. Low PTO until you work there for four years. Everything is always secretive, even if the changes being made involve the employees.

We appreciate the favorable review! It's good to know that efforts towards a comfortable work environment don't go unnoticed. I would like to add that after 1 year of employment, employees accrue a competitive 3 weeks of PTO. After 4 years, PTO accrual is over 4 weeks. I am also interested to know what changes you felt were "secretive." Over the past year, we have had several departmental changes and moves but those have been communicated to everyone in the company ahead of schedule once decisions are made. We encourage you to bring this perception to your Supervisor or HR so we may dive in to see what made you feel this way. As we continue to grow, additional opportunities for advancement are certain to pop up. Our internal employees are always given priority before external candidates are considered. PSB is a great company. They really put a lot of effort to have their employees succeed, along with giving a lot of opportunities to grow within the company. I would encourage anyone to work at PSB.

Equally, we enjoy learning more about any dissatisfaction employees experience so that we may look to potential solutions. You mentioned "inconsistent rule enforcement" and "delayed incentives." Concern: “inconsistent rule enforcement.” Response: While it may appear that some employees may be getting away with certain policies, we do administer our policies and procedures fairly and equally. When an employee doesn’t know about conversations, coaching sessions, or write ups that happen behind closed doors, the perception might be that unfair treatment is taking place. We assure you that we hold all of our employees accountable equally. Concern: “incentives can sometimes be delayed.” Response: Bonus and incentives are typically paid out around the 10th of every month.
