      Pros

      Coworkers and people were great, truly a valuable and impassioned group of people who gave their best every day and want to see their organization's mission succeed. Working remote always a plus.

      Cons

      Top heavy, Executive team extremely out of touch and make hasty decisions that affect morale. Getting any kind of raise or promotion if you're not in any of the policy teams feels like pulling teeth/is practically impossible.

      Good PTO Day off every month even without a holiday Understanding of family and personal commitments Interesting work

      Cons

      Salaries are poor compared to those of leadership and basically no opportunities for raises When problems are presented, organization leadership focuses more on methods and guidelines to solve them than actually solving them Lots of smart people want to do work, but are constantly held up by process Such a horizontal organization that there’s little opportunity for growth

      Pros

      Telework. This is also a con since the organization lacks any collegiality as a result of people never seeing one another. Working at POGO is easy if you are lazy and unqualified.

      Cons

      Where to start? POGO stood for good government at one time. Now it is filled with social justice warriors (SJWs) who lack in-depth knowledge of just about everything they do. The board should completely clean house and start over. Unfortunately, the board is as clueless as management.
