Beware of this sinking ship. Not worth the constant headache.

Pros

Working with pro athletes seemed glamorous at first but that sentiment quickly faded once reality set in. See list of cons.

Cons

The business model by nature is volatile because it's hinged on athlete performance, popularity, and behavior - and there were definitely issues with the latter. The company is very disorganized and dysfunctional resulting in vital tasks going unfinished, wasteful spending, poor internal and external communications, poor vendor relationships, unsatisfied clients, angry donors/board members, and high employee turnover. During my tenure, the number of employees went from 20+ down to 6. Leadership would frequently change internal workflows and structure on a whim and when it wasn't necessary. Employee leadership was not transparent and would flat out lie to the rest of the company on a regular basis. Expect job compensation to be poor and don't expect any pay raises unless you're related to the CEO or attend the same mega-church. To that point, the company is rife with nepotism. They have built a reputation for not paying vendors on time if at all. During the COVID shutdown, the CEO sent a company wide text message at 5am containing a link to a strange AI-generated news clip of an anchor praising his "pure-blood" brothers and sisters for not being vaccinated when over half the company was intelligent enough to have been vaccinated. I gave this company the benefit of the doubt too many times and it ended up hurting my career. I urge anyone applying here to reconsider. Times are tough but this company isn't worth the headache and I can't imagine they will remain in business for much longer.

Doing good, treated awful

Pros

Loved working with the athletes who were trying to use their platform for the betterment of their communities. Felt good to be a part of that, and to see those who were directly impacted.

Cons

Leadership at the company does not appreciate employees and most employees are not treated right/fairly. I was told by the owner that employees are treated like family when I was hired - I certainly hope that he does not treat his family that way. I felt not all practices were in the best interest of the foundations.
