I have been in the design field for over 16 years and have never come across a company in this much dissarray.
Pros
There was only one good thing I recieved from working at Proplant Inc, that was a paycheck. They had a project when the market was down.
Cons
There were many dowsides working at Prolant Inc. The communication between the PM and each disciplin was almost non-existant. The managment assuemed that 8 people could get done it two months what a large EPC company with all there resorces could get done in a year. I belive this was due to the lack of detailed engineering experience the owners had. There were promises of completion bonuses, yet they went thru 12 pipers on a 6 month project. As soon as someone finished what they think they needed you to do they laid them off then denied unemployment. I am not trying to bash the company, I think any professional thinking of going to work for Prolant Inc needs to be aware of this.
