Pros

The company *had* amazing employees. Everyone is nice, friendly, willing to help. Safe to say this is the main reason why people like this place so much.

Cons

Everything else. The CEO is a good person. He makes crazy decisions, but he also has bad "Executives" around him who don't care about him or the company at all. This company went from 0-100 back to 0 in a year. Management makes rash decisions from the comfort of their homes in different states and demands entry-level managers to relay their message with little to no explanation as to why. Not to mention, in the peak of COVID, everyone in the company was forced to be onsite. Management being remote is the root of every problem at Prospect. They don't have a clue what goes on. They have no idea who works for them and honestly, they couldn't care less. They come in once a quarter and barely look at any of their employees in the eye unless you're a team lead or manager. It's shameful. The company had a mass layoff and didn't give anyone their final checks or separations packets because they didn't have any of their ducks in a row (shocking!) The next week, ANOTHER layoff. Again, no checks! And no word of it from management. Another "culture cleanse," I suppose. Hopefully this place survives 2022.. but I wouldn't put my money on it.

Pros

There are some good people working here and getting to know them has been great.

Cons

Terrible leadership. The leadership of this company has no idea what they are doing. The CEO is completely lost in his own world and a perpetual "david and goliath" battle with UWM. Incredibly inconsistent metrics. Constantly shifting performance goals with no explanation as to why they move the goal posts. No work from home option. The CEO has repeatedly said that he will never advocate for a work from home basis.

Mass Layoff

Pros

Friendships that were gained, some career advancements

Cons

For starters, they just did a mass lay off of 50 people on 02/01/2022. Once they realized things were getting bad, they started looking for reasons to fire employees until they were forced to go on with this mass layoff. Money was carelessly spent while we were not doing well as a company (hosted a halloween party for the public with vendors, DJ, dance crew, etc). First time Sales Managers being 25 years old received 200k salary plus bonuses while most of the company is making 35-50k, with some departments not even receiving bonuses.. make it make sense. The CEO started to go on tangents on his LinkedIn posts, our company's YouTube page, bashing partnerships. As you can guess, partnerships were ended with Prospect. He specifically blamed UWM for our company's failures and the reason he had to lay off all those employees this week. Mind you a week ago he said and I quote "Ill be homeless before we control expenditures through layoffs." That did not age well. Should I also point out that most of this upper management team (CEO included), is in some way related to each other? I could go on and on, but I think I'll stop here. I am tired of typing.
