Unsupportive Environment for Creative, High-Visibility Educators While this institution publicly promotes innovation and student-centered learning, the school’s leadership often struggles to support educators who truly embody those values. Teachers who connect strongly with students and families, bring creativity into the classroom, and deliver strong outcomes often find themselves treated as liabilities rather than assets. Expectations for “academic rigor” are vague and inconsistently applied, with standards shifting arbitrarily rather than being clearly defined. Minor or trivial complaints may be escalated unnecessarily, contributing to a paper trail focused on documentation rather than professional growth.
