Pros

This is a great company! They offer benefits, PTO time, and pay for $20000.00 life insurance. The home office very supportive.

Cons

The company does not prioritize their compensation accordingly to job descriptions and employee experience and education. I was actually an Administrative Assistant, that was receiving receptionist wages.

We are glad to hear that your experience was positive both at the community and with home office. Provision Living offers generous benefits packages to our full-time employees including PTO and $20,000.00 company paid life and AD&D insurance as you mentioned. Our compensation is competitive with other employers in the area, though we understand it may not be satisfactory to all employees. Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with Provision Living!

Can’t trust owners/senior management as far as you can throw them.

Pros

Great team, in the building. ED and management team work tirelessly to make the whole building run smoothly while trying to recognize employees for their efforts. The staff does really care about the elders in their care.

Cons

Ownership and senior management will lie to your face about the status of your building. Look at the track record and don’t ever believe them when they say a building is not for sale. This company likes to partner with investment firms to buy buildings. However, they seem to get duped in contract negotiations or never have enough money to have control of the properties they “own”. Therefore, when the investment firm needs/wants to sell the building. They are powerless to stop it. So much so that the building “crown jewel of PVL” directly across the street from their home office was sold out from underneath them. Same as all their other buildings in St. Louis. A St. Louis based company with nothing in St. Louis.

Pros

In my time at Provision Living, I had a very positive experience. I was given the opportunity to lead impactful training and development initiatives, collaborate closely with leadership, and see firsthand the difference we were making for staff and residents. I didn’t run into the kinds of issues you sometimes hear about in reviews — instead, I experienced strong teamwork, support for new ideas, and a real commitment to resident care. I left only because of restructuring, not because of dissatisfaction.

Cons

I had to leave because of restructuring, not because of dissatisfaction. PVL is a great company.
