Pros

Ability to care for geriatric patients who deserve care, compassion and advocacy.

Cons

Psych360 is a completely predatorial company that relies on manipulation, shame and intimidation solely to make money under the guise of “patient care” where patients are “value units” and employees are workhorses to extract all units possible from an extremely vulnerable population. Pay is way less than average and work load (when done correctly which is not valued by the company) is EXCESSIVE. Morale is built on emptily platitudes with a creepy cult-like culture. I was humiliated and ashamed everyday I represented such a classless, greedy company run by a highly unimpressive leadership team.

Pros

Work/life balance is pretty good

Cons

Onboarding is horrible, training period is too short. Company lies about providing a mentor during the orientation period. I requested additional training but was denied. I had to drive 3 hours round trip to different long term care facilities for 3 weeks and only received a couple hours of training each day before my preceptor wanted to leave and go home. I had to complete notes and documentation at home with a EHR system that I was unfamiliar with. My mentor was never available because they had their own case load to complete. My preceptor/mentor did not even know that they were training me my first week!
