- Morale is below miserable - Leadership is outdated and manipulative - Leadership is focused on pet projects that are never funded - You're always blamed, especially when it's not your fault - There's never any growth - You're never rewarded for your wins

All of us at PHF strive for continuous improvement and supporting one another. While I agree that management is by no means perfect, and we continue to learn how to best support all staff, at times an employee seeks to part ways. We have a strong set of staff values that all of us at PHF embrace and practice. Retention is high and funding is sound.

Great mission, but not the best organization to work for

- Staff members were very friendly, smart, and hard working. - Board of Directors were great and easy to work with.

Cons

My position was unstructured and unorganized. The expectations, procedures, and processes for the position were unclear. Months later, they finally decided to develop some procedures, which should have been done on the first day. Senior staff was very critical, ungrateful, and micromanaged everything. They do not value or respect their employees and only care about what you can offer them. The COO/CFO is EXTREMELY unprofessional, speaks negative about staff members, thrives off conflict, and has a nasty attitude. This was a very uncomfortable environment.
