The work itself was stimulating and the pay pretty good

Cons

My manager was not equipped to train me and failed to hold themselves accountable for their mistakes, even noting they did not want to attend managerial training to improve on their communication. They were often reactive and many people in the team struggled to get along with them on a professional level. Any disputes were often heated and left me feeling anxious to go to work the next day.

Pros

Great environment with lovely people who care about heritage. Very good work/life balance. Flexible working, core hours and 3in 2 out policy is appealing these days

Cons

It's pretty much all heritage so if you only like newly built architecture, this is maybe not the place for you. It's not the most diverse practice

Good benefits Friendly staff Overall supportive environment Pay for part 3 and excessive holidays Not working over time Paid trainings, development plan, flexibility Approachable senior management (partner level) High morales, good values and great company culture

Cons

Can feel very stagnant. Career development slow and very stiff - development possible for traditional paths only. They only count your years of experience based on post qualification time. The quality and level of your Education and previous practices etc is not that relevant Pay is average - standard to Riba pay -
