I was on the pure local bysiness directory for only a short while after leaving yp and consulting for true local. While the pay at yp was 10% more I preferred the chilled mantra at purelocal working on core Wordpress based infrastructure for purelocal.com.au , they put their listed businesses before profits and are growing at a rapid pace , I have seen their internal metrics but due to privacy I cannot disclose

Other business directories were bothersome and anti competitive which increased my workload at purelocal during my time there

My task on the R&D and IT team at PureLocal.com.au has been a pleasure and enough time is allocated per task creating an overall pleasant atmosphere with good pay. If you are considering joining the IT team at PureLocal Australia I recommend submitting your CV.
Cons
Currently pay is a nomimal 90k per year , other offers would raise this pay but may entail a higher worklaod.
