Pros

It's a great place to gain experience, and if you want to compound in the future it's a good stepping stone. You will also learn a lot about yourself and it will test your boundaries and show you exactly where yours are.

Cons

I felt very unappreciated, overworked and underpaid. Decisions will be made for you and you'll be expected to roll with drastic changes every day. Nothing is uniform and there is zero communication. The workload is VERY heavy at some locations, while simultaneously being extremely understaffed.

I am sorry to hear your experience with Pure left you feeling this way. We do periodic industry checks to ensure our salaries are in line with other pharmacies. We also provide various avenues for employees to communicate their concerns.

Pros

The staff was great to work along side. The reputation of the store made it a classy place to have a job. They negotiated hard for the wage, but I got about what I wanted.

Cons

Lots of changes in the company and no one seems to want to explain anything to anyone. They don't offer benefits freely, you really have to harp on them for it. They also don't actively meet wages you'd get being employed elsewhere.

Pros

Lots of free product and knowledge available to staff to increase understanding of supplementation and pharmaceutical in the integrative model. The staff are all very kind and hard working individuals

Cons

HR and upper management has VERY poor communication- they don’t communicate with each other so getting anything done efficiently is impossible. HR in particular is very unprofessional and uses a condescending tone in most emails. Difficult to deal with especially when there is an issue. The expectations of their employees are never laid out clearly and many employees are thrown into roles with very little training or correct compensation. Treats employees, like they are disposable.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns and feedback. We want to ensure all staff are treated with respect and clear expectations are given for their new role. Each new hire is given a letter of employment outlining their responsibilities and each new hire is provided with training and support over the 3 month probationary period. If we missed something relating to your onboarding or there was anything we could have done better, please reach out to anyone on our head office team so we can correct. Employee satisfaction is very important to us so we are happy to hear from you. Again, thank you for your time and for sharing.
