Updating & servicing new products instore while researching competitors products
Pros
The provided work hours allotted time to complete daily tasks. My superior was well versed in digital design, online marketing, and had a great relationship with the stores that provided our products. You will not be required to do meaningless tasks. In fact, i saw my work installed in stores. As an option i worked with advertising, human resources, and the accounting department to secure better awareness of our products in store. The relationships i built up with those businesses were then tasked to another new employee who i personally trained for the position. After leaving i still kept in contact with people from various departments to help further my areas of expertise in marketing. Overall, Pylon was a great learning place for my future development.
Cons
I wouldn't recommend working at pylon without a open mind. There are various people in the office that are experienced who like to double check new employees work. The work also requires travel that will take away from office work. While in the office you will have to become a mediator between different departments. Expect to also work from home because the time out of store when traveling to various locations locally.
