Wasted Potential.

Pros

Q-nomy's unorthodox interview process ensures they hire talented individuals who can deal with whatever is thrown at them. Working with such a talented team is a pleasure, and everyone bands together to address the many crises that occur.

Cons

The upper management is often at odds with each other, which leads to a lot of missed opportunities for the company. The issues with management often lead to staff being caught in the middle of these fights and fired as a result. Many roles at the company cap at a fairly low salary, and management has a skewed view of what average compensation is for most roles.

Poorly Managed Company

Pros

Great product, lot of opportunity for this solution. Q-nomy has a feature rich solution that can really help companies manage queuing and online appointment booking.

Cons

Management makes decisions based on emotion, decision are not fact based. Personnel changes are not made based on KPI's or measured performance. If one of the VP's or the CEO is having a bad day, there is a really good chance that it could be your last day on the job. They will sell you on a "career" and basically deliver nothing but stress and daily turmoil. Unless you have a strong stomach for watching people be mistreated (specifically in the Canadian and US Offices) and can work in a environment with no consistent or meaningful process, this is not a place you want to be working.

Do not trust this company

Pros

Fast paced environment where you are challenged to learn. If you are anywhere near decent you will be given very large responsibilities very quickly. This is mainly because they are so poorly run that they involve everyone in everything.

Cons

This is the type of company that will hire you and get everything out of you before getting rid of you. They involve you in very high level projects but do not give you the recognition for them. They promote very quickly but they are hollow promotions that do not come with a raise and are never made formally. The owner is definitely a control freak. They will hire you and then make you do spot presentations for the various vp's, cfo's, ceo's etc etc. All the while making sure you know that if you dont perform they will let you go. They will promote people then change their titles a few weeks later.Titles change all the time. The core group of talent they had outside of their Israel office has all left. They will screw any decent sales person out of their commission. They have no problem lying to their clients and have no ethics. All the real decision making and control rests in Israel. There was so much politics and backdoor deals going on that's it was impossible to know who to trust and it was an awful environment to work in if you were looking for any career path. The only people that stay are the ones that are over-payed for their jobs but know how to play the politics and do as they are told.
