Poor Communication

Pros

The job itself is very low stress. You aren't tied down to a desk or even an office space.

Cons

Upper management does not communicate in a timely or professional manner. The hours do fluctuate with seasons, so there's no safety net. The upper management does not plan accordingly for how many hours they have and this leads to mass layoffs and scapegoats. This company does not care about it's employees, unless you get one of the few good managers.

Good for a second job

Pros

Merchandising plants at Lowe's location without having a supervisor over your shoulder and working at your own pace including your own hours it was quite fun

Cons

The supervisor only ever stopped in every now and then and the co-workers we're not always helpful or even consistent in showing up leaving a large workload solely on me
