Pros

I struggle to think of any pros of working for this train-wreck of a business, unless you are “in with the crowd” of senior management.

Cons

Where do I even begin… -You must keep your schedule open 7 days a week. You will be required to work on Sundays, so don’t let them lead you to believe otherwise. -Want to request PTO or a day off? Good luck. You must submit all PTO requests a month in advance. Impossible to plan for anything outside of work. Did I mention that your monthly schedules are emailed the day before the month begins? There is ZERO WORK-LIFE BALANCE (unless you’re “in with the crowd”). Being “in the crowd” will include lunches, happy hours, and general praise. But if you are not “in with the crowd”, you will be left out and you will feel it. -Senior Management will keep you in your place and will not let you grow professionally past your job title. If you’re looking for a place to grow, this is ABSOLUTELY NOT the place. If you want to be promoted you must show that you are faithful and loyal under all circumstances. -Any commission based revenue will take months to be deposited to your account, there is no guarantee that you will be paid in a timely manner. -Operations and general management logistics are a disaster. It is an infinite loop of disfunction that on some days will drive you just short of insanity. Your thoughts and suggestions for areas of improvement or to solve current problems will not be taken seriously or even be considered. Modernization doesn’t seem to be of concern to Quadrangle as long as they make their money. —CLIQUEY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. The employees at Quadrangle gossip about each other more than high-schoolers. The amount of times I’ve witnessed Management engage in conjecture regarding their own employees is exponential. -Your Managers could care less about your mental health. The constant belittlement, inability to grow professionally, and consistent repetition of the same busywork, day in and day out, will leave you feeling unaccomplished and unfulfilled. You are essentially a glorified R.A. who sells people incredibly overpriced housing. Lastly, My time at Quadrangle led me into chronic depression. When my little brother passed suddenly, I was fired the day I returned to work. Hopefully that tells you everything you need to know about this company.

Pros

When you are in the clique, the benefits are tremendous, long lunches, shopping, fake all day meetings...where you can disappear, zero pressure to perform, especially if you are the latest class pet.

Cons

Uh oh, it's time to work, but you were distracted by your boss, when problems arise, you are on your own. You become the outcast, with no support. Gone are the superficial relationships. No one has your back. It's either you or them and of course it's never them.
