Health care benefits, tiny cubes, break areas

Cons

CEO gets off on yelling, talking about how difficult her job is, and firing people. If take this job continue looking for a real job. If you want to know what it feels like to be fired this is the place for you.

Pros

Flexible schedule, Friday half days (but see cons about work hours) Good benefits Most employees are good to work with and want to do a good job Challenging work

Cons

Dictator CEO, not receptive to ideas/won't listen, does not recognize hard work, constantly complains and berates people in front of peers, subordinates, anyone. Unilaterally sets unrealistic schedules/goals/financial targets and explodes when not met. Constantly changes direction and blames others. Insensitive, micro-manager, no respect for others. CEO attacks anyone, even entry level people, without going through the person's direct manager. None of senior managers will stand up to CEO. Hours are insane. Friday's are 1/2 days but no one can leave on time! People are expected to work 24/7 and then some. People are expected to work on holidays/vacations. High turnover and low morale. People have been fired in their 1st week on the job, others have quit within weeks of starting, some have given it a few months but just walked out. People are not given the tools they need to succeed. Work harder and figure it out yourself environment.

I am very sorry to say that this company has severe management and strategic issues. There is no trust in their employees, and they get yelled at while doing their best to accomplish their responsibilities; it is not the best way to retain talents, and they are very irresponsible with the company's future. Please note that there are people who have worked there for over ten years, and they are the ones who tolerate poor management and verbal harassment or cannot find a new job. There is no psychological safety, and remaining in this company is very bad for your reputation and your personal growth since the company has been behind in technology for years now. If you really love yourself and your family, this company is not the right place for you. The CEO is not a CEO.
