Pros

Nothing! Everything there is a disaster! Maybe the only pros is the benefit and working overtime!

Cons

Management lazy people and favoritism! Everyone gets away with anything! It's ridiculous! The hard workers are the ones who get in trouble all the time! If your a hard worker and love stress and love to be bullied, this is the place to work! They expect you to do everything! But when the lazy people don't do it, they don't get told anything! The lazy people and the favoritism get away with everything! I'm a workaholic and I can't stand that We get in trouble because the lazy people say we are the ones who don't work!

Most sink or swim, a few just float

Pros

People are generally dedicated to their jobs, you will see a lot of people here after hours, on weekends, pitching in to get things done. There is room for advancement, they do prefer to promote from within. The culture seems to be changing at a somewhat glacial pace.

Cons

Management does not seem to listen, contracts are negotiated and put in place with zero feedback from the people actually doing the work. Managers tend to make promises they don't have to keep, putting people in binds where they have to juggle life and work constantly. Turnover is a continuously ongoing issue, to the extent that the most tenured people in some departments have 2-3 years experience. Countless time is wasted training and signing people that decide it's not for them. HR seems to be unable to find new people at a decent rate. Management's projects seem to be a higher priority than obtaining a full staff. Sink or swim operation in many departments, which is good for some people and terrible for most. A handful of people have figured out how to do absolutely minimal work without being fired. A company in need of drastic software solutions to bridge the gap between mass production and perfect quality, there are too many manual stop-gap solutions in place.

Pros

Not too many Pros. The building and laboratory environment is clean, well maintained - but also super-sterile in appearance.

Cons

The list of Cons is rather extensive. Insufficient staff is a MAJOR ongoing problem, that NO ONE in management seem willing to seriously address. Proper training of new hires is poorly executed. Effective communication is still just a concept.
