      There is nothing pro about this company or Richard.

      You will not be paid your full wages. There is suppose to be a car allowance of $200 a week and an hourly wage of $15per hour in addition to commissions. He has you download sheets so he can track you all day long and keep pay roll records. However, he goes in an alters the days and hours worked. The person before me did not receive all his pay nor did I. The man says he is just a manager but he really owns the company and only has a warehouse to keep his products in Chula Vista. He cheats his customers and his employees out of money and misrepresents non stop. Save yourself time and angst he has gone through 8 people on San Diego Territory position in 6 months. He says he fired them all, but I know I quit and the man before me quit. He services all the accounts in your territory and wants you to add new accounts which he will take as soon as he fires you. He overstocks the customers to make his overhead and asks you to alter invoices. Run from this one.

      We appreciate all feedback so we may continue evolving as a corporation.. Qual Chem has never had a problem paying any employee. Qual Chem has a clean record with all state and federal agencies. Qual Chem takes great pride in paying its employees. Our customers and employees are the life blood of our corporation. Qual Chem has 2 Richards that are managers. We are assuming this is about our Regional manger Richard because the mention of Chula Vista. Richard started as a Sales Rep for us and is now responsibility of 25 employees in 3 states and over 3000 accounts. Richard only services accounts when a manager or Rep is not available. As soon as he fills position he hands accounts over. Richard cannot service 3000 accts. in 3 states. He is to busy. Qual Chem has a four part interview process. Once hired sales reps are required to achieve a quota in order to keep receiving base pay/ expenses plus benefits with free vacations Most of our competitors pay 100% commission with no benefits .Qual Chem prides themselves on being the industry leader.

      The manager or "boss" is a very shady businessman, no ethics whatsoever. Says you will make 70k+ but you wont. You will make 40-50k and its very blatant when you discuss the payment structure with "boss" and when you state the obvious he will become very defensive bc he knows hes full of it.

      Thank you or your review . We apologize for your feelings about the manager "boss" Just to clarify our sales reps are independent contractors so the manager is not really a boss. Our managers are more like coaches.By your statements it sounds like Qual Chem was not a good fit for you. Being an independent contractor you decide when you work and how much you make individually. The managers have no control over how much you make. Only the individual has that control. As in all sales positions it depends on how smart and how hard you are willing to work. As you have stated to make make $70,000 a year or more as in most industries you are going to have to be at the top of your game and not blame your situation on other people. To make 6 figures in Qual Chem you are going to have stay more than a year , not less than a year and work really hard and smart. We hope you found your match in your current position.
