Pros
Traveling is a plus if they actually send you out
Cons
You are persuaded into signing up as an "independent contractor" (1099) so that they can avoid taxes and avoid providing any benefits. There are required full-time office hours (which is contrary to the IRS definition of being a 1099 contractor) for which you are not paid. You will get a minimum of $1,000 monthly stipend which they make sure is in writing it's based on if they can pay or not. The company is ran by 2 people that are unprofessional and constantly making the consultants feel bad, and you aren't sent on jobs right away or can take months or even up to a year
