Pros

I had a great experience at QIP. Management is very considerate about work-life balance and workload in general while still being challenging enough to grow. QIP is my standard with which I will compare company culture moving forward.

Cons

I do not have any cons.

Pros

The work can be very rewarding and meaningful, particular on high-impact/high-visibility projects and contracts. Leadership and colleagues treat each other with support, humanity, compassion, and generosity. There is a strong company culture that truly values and protects work/life balance. The benefits are generous, particularly retirement and health reimbursement.

Cons

Being a small company, staff can be stretched very thin or easily overwhelmed with work sometimes, particularly when new contracts are awarded or there is a change in staffing. For example, temporary parental leave can place a huge workload burden on other staff, and permanent departures mean that job duties are sometimes reassigned temporarily or permanently to whoever has the time, as opposed to whoever is best equipped or most interested. The pay could be more competitive, and annual raises have not kept up with inflation in recent years.
