Pros

I came here with some background in 802.11 software, but there were many missing links and gaps in my knowledge of 802.11. After nearly 2 years in job here, plenty of those gaps are filling and I am beginning to expand my understanding of lower MAC/PHY and OFDM. Thanks to top quality management who encourages free discussions among different functional teams. Some colleagues are awesome engineering talent. Management is utilizing multiple geographical engineering presence very well.

Cons

I don't have a crisp opinion on 'cons' as of now. Some of the 'cons' mentioned in other reviews are reasonable because its a startup company.

Pros

* Wireless communications is a technology hot spot, with fast evolving standards and plenty of opportunity for innovation. * Unencumbered by legacy software and bureaucracy. * Can work on anything from hardware interfaces to drivers to user interfaces.

Cons

* Get sucked into working way too many hours. * Managers are technology focused. HR is an afterthought.

Pros

Small company, lots of snack. However, the free snacks are only in US Fremont office.

Cons

Be very careful of the upper management, they are trying to be like a military boot camp "Yes sir" kinda crap, so no new innovations, and if you bring new ideas, well there's a trash can.
