Pros

- Since the median age is around 25, you can get along with everyone - If you are lucky, you cand find people that can really teach you QA and work ethics - Decent coffee but no milk - Sometimes, you get rewarded with a pizza

Cons

- The management is made up from toxic people that are way in over their head, with very few exceptions - You will be bullied in doing what they tell you to do - You are told that the schedule is flexible but it is only flexible if you want to come from 6 am to 14 pm, 14 pm to 11 pm, or 6pm and 3 am. - The management pushes constantly for a bug quota even if that bug quota is unfeasible - Be prepared to work in quantity assurance as you will have to cover for the missing testers, as the company sells more people that they have - There is always some high school drama going on inside the company, either between the testers, or between the production and the management teams - The CEO really loves to tell stories without an actual purpose, either about how some client is the beautiful girl that we have and no one else can or about how he is some shogun that is betrayed by his underlings - The collective thinking is something along the lines of "you are punished as a team and rewarded individually" - Pay raises are a joke, they do not even cover the inflation rate - The evaluations are also a joke as it does not matter how good you are, you will either be told that there are no places for you to be promoted or that you have "grievances" or are "too negative" when you start pointing things out and give suggestions on how to improve - The pay is a joke, you start at 1450RON/month (295EUR) and after 2 year you can reach 2200RON/Month (447 EUR) if you are lucky. This applies for the tester role. - If you become a lead, you will have to fight tooth and nails for your right to go on a vacation (if bull hits the fan you will need to be available), to take a sick day, to have enough people to do what the client needs, to take control of your project from the sales department (because they think that they should have control over a project) - Oh, and be prepared to hear about how some of the former best people in the company are evil just because they left - And be prepared to leave ASAP because once an exodus occurs, and all of the qualified people in the company leave, you will have to work 3x as much as before to cover for the loses.

Pros

The company has a very diverse group of employees which represent a change to find and befriend really cool people.

Cons

1. The 'flexibility' term is used only before the official onboarding. 2. It is not important for what schedule you sign up for, you will be moved from one project to another which means your work schedule will change almost weekly (you may work one week from 6am to 14pm and the other from 14pm to 11pm or from 6pm to 3am depending how to management if feeling about the situation that time), 3. Don't expect salary raises if you're 'only' doing a good job (an 'Exceed expectation' result at the periodical 6 months evaluation, without a role raise, means on average approximately 50 lei net raise). 4. The company doesn't care about your personal life. 5. The management seems overwhelmed and underprepared (wannabe professionals). 6. The company makes spontaneous and sometimes contradictories short term decisions that significantly impact the employees work-life balance. 7. The company is unilaterally making a lot of amendments to the originally sign work contract due to the fact that the contract is made so it can be flexible on the employer side. 8. It is expected of you to put in 200% on a daily basis so the clients would not figure it out that the project is running at 50-60% manpower from what they payed (all this without any extra compensation obviously).

Pros

Colleagues are Very nice. You can make some friends here. If you are a student..it migjt work out for you fir a short oeriod of time.

Cons

1. The salary is way too small. Considering the fact that this is a job in Cluj Napoca, the salaries should be at least enough to make a living..and they are NOT. 2. Management is very bad. There is no nice way to say this. They don't care about the employees. You are just a resource that they can exploit. 3. The "flexible hours" that they mention during the recruitment process are a huge scam. There is nothing flexible in working from 6 to 14 and from 14 to 23...besides..they will choose the hours for you. (There still are some departments who actually give a damn about your needs regarding the working hours). 4. There is nontransparency. You could get moved frok project to project on a whim..no explenation. 5. The evaluation process is fake. It doesn't matter how good you are. You can score perfect 10 and have good reviews...you can still get the "Needs improvement" grade just so they can keep you on low money. 6. There are no internal trainings. When you go to the interview and ask "Are there any opportunities to learn?" they will say "YES". Don't believe them. 7. I'm not sure who is the worst..the Upper management or the HR. 8. There are no benefits in working here. 9. They say that they have fresh fruit..but there are some fruits maybe once in 2 weeks. 10. Lead testers act so high and mighty..they sometimes forget that most of them started as testers. 11. The culture of this company is just toxic. It doesn t matter how hard you try and how good you are. If somone from managament doesn t like you..you can look for a different job. 12. If you ask questions..you will never be promoted again. 13. Nothing is negotiable. 14. Join QL only if you are plannimg to leave.
