Pros

the people outside of leadership really work hard and are a great group of people

Cons

Leadership is very distrusting and lacks integrity. They force good people to leave I've seen so many talented people leave the company.

Trouble at the top

Pros

1) The people working in the trenches here were fantastic. Hard working, collaborative, funny. 2) The potential of the market and the technology is amazing.

Cons

For starters, few of the people I mentioned in #1 above are still with the company, so that's a con. Also, management isn't suited to software. They come from a services background and view every problem from a services perspective, which doesn't work for a software company. They're not well suited to leading either. There is a lot of passive aggressive politics being played that simply make it hard for most people to do their jobs well.

Pros

The product the company provides is innovative and important. I believed in it.

Cons

Turnover is high, the company can't keep employees. Even multiple VPs have left this place because it was such a mess (at least 4 are gone since I resigned). No room for growth. Inefficient: they didn't have a real CRM program so I was stuck using a basic version of Monday.com, which was not the best tool for client relationship management. Because of its shortcomings I was also forced to update a Google Sheet and Calendar, so I had to input the same info in three places instead of one. Data was also a joke, we had to figure out everything manually - I wasted one weekend per month doing a report for my boss that would have taken an hour with the proper data (instead I was actually counting up engagement metrics from the system's back end). I hope these are outdated complaints, but they were my experience.
