Pros

Acutally not a lot. A good place to learn to be honest. Once you have a certain level of experience you will find easily something better.

Cons

People are employed on base of a really low salary (15k p.a. before tax). To be honest this is not something that pays your bills. But therefore they suggest you a really big commission. They bait you with high potential of earnings through a commission scheme. But at the end of the day the decision if the company has to pay you commission or not is good will of the management. This is due to a paper you have to sign. It says all commission payments are on discretion of the company. If you have performed really good and you could get some decent money they review your performance. They suddently come up with silly excuses why they don't have to pay you what you actually deserve. In January they cut the employees commission retroactively for the whole year of 2015. Everybody lost loads of money. And we are talking about thousands of pounds. Unfortunately there are always people who are dependent on jobs like this. And they take full advantage of that. If I look back this is seriously the dodgiest companies I have ever worked for.

Thank you for taking the time to publish this review, it is always good to get feedback both from the negative and positive viewpoints. Our central location and the good foundation training we offer TMCs does mean that our assessment centres are always quite full and we take on quite a few TMCs. The salary is benchmarked in the area and with the TMC grading scheme and the ability to earn commission very few people in the organisation are taking home base salary only. The commission scheme is discretionary and is subject to qualifying rules, attendance and absence rules and ultimately can be changed if misuse and/or misconduct of the scheme is discovered. Thank you again for taking the time to offer your individual opinion.

Pros

The people at the bottom of the food chain The cleaner Location Near to shops etc The sweets on the reception desk ... difficult to think of any more.

Cons

I guess some people could argue that Quantum is what you would expect it to be. A call centre where you work hard to get results, which are practically impossible, and in return get paid next to nothing and offered little or no progression. However, I can honestly say that I have never, ever worked anywhere that is so utterly dishonest, disgusting and disrespectful to their staff. Having been there for only a matter of weeks, you could wonder how in this time things I have had such an awful experience of the place? Of course, the basic salary is amazing - £7.50 per hour can really pay the bills! But that is sadly the least of the issues. Well, let's start with the assessment. You will be told to stand up and tell the rest of the group what your favourite film is. What this has got to do with generating leads, I have no idea? But I believe that the reasoning behind this god awful turn-style of a recruitment process, is that the "management's" lack of social skills would prevent them from recruiting candidates in a more professional approach, due to the fact that most of them are incapable of speaking to others in any sort of respectable manner. Of course, in the assessment you are also promised an amazing commission structure, good campaigns, brilliant development and as much data as you could wish for. The reality is, your entire team (approx 10 people, possibly more) will be working on the exact same data as you. The campaigns themselves have all been run into the ground. Development?! HA! That's funny. Although I was only employed at Quantum for a short amount of time, it was certainly long enough to see that they do not value their staff in any shape, way or form. As for the commission structure - Well, once the management see that you are all set on target to hit commission, they are hot on your heels and quick to come up with excuses as to why suddenly you won't qualify! When they see you hitting out the numbers on a campaign, they will snap you up and place you on a campaign that literally gives you about as much chance of generating a lead, as winning the euro millions without a ticket. The communication within the "management" is ludicrous! You can ask one person a question, and get an answer, and then be confronted by someone else the next day as to why you went about it in that way! And by confronted, I mean literally spoken to like you are a very old and very dried up bit of dog's droppings on the bottom of their shoe. Although some of the management are friendly enough, others, on the other hand, will literally speak to you like you are a worthless individual who deserves no respect. You will also be micro managed and you will feel as though you have suddenly gone back in time several years and are back at school being spoken to like you are an 11 year old disobedient child. Also, if you want to make yourself a drink at any time during the working day, just don't do it. All hell breaks lose. You will be spoken to like you're an out of date packet of crisps, covered in mould and infested with maggots. And as for talking to your team...! It is a real shame as there are some real gems in that place people - wise. But you can forget having the slightest bit of banter or even just chatting to the person next to you about a work - related issue. You will be shot down for talking before you can say "I have never worked anywhere so awful". Management will also never apologise when they are proven to be in the wrong. And as for progression... put it this way, I've seen a snail progress further. Most of the people who work there feel as though they could be signing on at the job centre any day now. And to be fair, maybe that would be a blessing.

Pros

Only that its near amenities so you can forget youve been there.

Cons

Where do I start..... Wages, if you can call them that, are awful. Even mine are shocking, but the poor English speakers, 15k pa........seriously??? Its an insult. They have no respect for anyone, ALL the managers are grossly incompetent. They are always ripping off their clients too. How they are still in business is beyond me. Sales sell marketing lead gen on products they have no knowledge in and have even less knowledge in the capabilities of the TMCs. There are some truly talented people here, or were before they all left due to taking their commission by backdating the qualification period and ruling everyone out. This company has no morals, standards or long-term future. I strongly suggest you think twice and three times before coming here. The managers and "trainers"spend their entire time leering over the girls. This is not an office to be in if you are a female. HR are utterly, utterly useless and rather than deal; with it, hide it and sack the girls who dare complain they get harassed. The gross incompetence of the trainers is truly something, but this would possibly extend to why the sales team is so utterly dire. The recruitment is also embarrassing and clearly run by someone with no prior experience or knowledge of what they are doing, they seem to have one mission in mind. Get the most attractive girls possible in the least amount of time with the odd token guy. In short the only decent people at the awful company are the TMCs, all others believe they are above the law and anything else. Terrible and rotten to the core

Hi, First of all I would like to thank you for taking your time to post this review but would also remind you that as a current employee of the business you do have the right at any time to raise a grievance over any area that concerns you. I am not going to address every single one of the points you raise but just wanted to draw your attention to a few areas. Our wage structure rarely prohibits us from recruiting into the business, in fact at the moment the double TMC commission is ensuring we are averaging over 25 people at each assessment centre we are running. At the beginning of the year the exposure by the management team of some questionable operational behaviour that had lead to an abuse of the commission scheme did result in some employees deciding to leave the business. The business is a very healthy mix of full time and part-time employees, male and female employees and employees from a variety of cultures and ethnicities giving us a truly global and vibrant place to work. Furthermore each job role in the business has a set of criteria, skills and experience associated to it and these are used to recruit the successful candidates to endure a fair and consistent process. Any concern or grievance raised by an employee is taken very seriously by HR and our internal procedures followed. Again thank you for your time and your review.
