Pros
-20 Days Paid Vacation. People at this company actually take their vacation days, you will not be guilt-tripped for taking time off! -Remote Work. It's completely your choice whether to work remotely, hybrid, or in the office. -Supportive, non-toxic work environment. The culture is very collegial and not internally competitive. Colleagues will go out of their way to help you and to make you feel supported. -Excellent, affordable healthcare options. There is a plan that is 100% employer covered for employees without dependents. Mental healthcare (e.g. psychiatrist and licensed counselor visits) are 100% covered by employer. -Gracious and collegial senior leadership. VP and director level leaders are accessible and genuinely friendly. As a result, QW does not feel very hierarchical. A coworker recently described this aspect of Quantum's culture as "utopian" and it really does feel that way sometimes. I have a lot of distrust/skepticism for organizations that talk about how they're a "family", and fortunately QW does not use that language, but I have to emphasize that the psychological safety here is top-notch.
Cons
-Pay across most individual contributor roles is not particularly competitive. -Some teams are continually understaffed, which limits overall org success and productivity. -Change management and internal communication is a struggle, even though Quantum is a small organization (headcount of roughly 130 employees).
