Pros

The Expedition DI product line was one of the most interesting and fun aspects of the company. For a design engineer there was an interesting variety of products to design and develop. A casual atmosphere and fun likeable employees.

Cons

Top management not stable. Had five different presidents and about as many vice presidents in a five year window. Developing products for sale to the military has a very long time horizon and budget cutbacks happen even in the military, making it an even tougher business to be in.

Cons

Lots of Exec Staff paranoia, little in the way of leadership. Never could figure out if the company would be in business from one week to the next.
