I have been working at Qubole full-time for more than a year

    Pros

We're still on track to make difference in the data world, keep an eye on emerging market share for advanced data trends (e.g. clickstream analytics). The product is one-of-a-kind and a dream for the powerful data engineer, machine learning leader. People are very kind here and also smart. So it's easy to boost collaboration and communicate even amongst high stress times.

    Cons

We've had to consolidate certain teams in effect to Covid, and of course, there's other cost saving initiatives we're up to consider...but that's what you sign up for being part of a fast-paced mature startup. There's expected setbacks you need to power through... especially through 2020. Leadership can do better job to communicate any major changes.

    Pros

The people here are amazing, the technology is great, the ambition and drive and passion are palpable. Qubole overall is an amazing place to work.

    Cons

The marketing team is killing this company - consistently putting out garbage or initiatives that our customers just don't care about there is no real focus on how to grow the business.

I worked at Qubole full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Qubole has been a good place to work since they have a great product, have met some great people along the way, and feel that they compensate their employees fairly.

    Cons

--Marketing leadership doesn't know how to position ourselves in the market --G TM strategy has never been fully ironed out from day one --Invests too much in product and little in marketing and sales --Leadership claims to be transparent, but when the going et's rough, they hide behind the reality of the situation --Has never built a culture around growth and development for their employees

I have been working at Qubole full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Amazing culture - Great technology you get exposed to - Very bright and hard working employees - Free food - Loads of fun events - Typical bay area start-up attitude towards problem solving

    Cons

    - The problem, historically, has been our inability to differentiate ourselves in the market. Given too many players in the same domain, it makes the problem worse. - Product reach, marketing etc should be better than it is today. - More business focus and being clever at monetizing the services provided.
