Pros

The workspace has beautiful views and it’s very nicely decorated.

Cons

If you are not related to the CEO, you probably won’t be employed there very long or someone related to him will come along and you’ll be replaced. There’s no loyalty between senior management and individuals at any level. The turnover is the fastest I have ever seen at any company. No one is safe.. and if they lose one contract, they fire half of the company. Maybe if they didn’t spend so much money, donating it to nonprofits and such they have enough to pay their employees what they deserve. I do not recommend working here as you will probably be let go within the first 12 months. They offer a salary that is not competitive and try to make it sound better by talking about all the benefits they provide their employees internally. Such as a barista, a masseuse, and a chiropractor, but they’ll make sure that you clock out before attending a massage or chiropractor appointment, even though they’re trying to make it an incentive. But you end up paying for the appointment since it’s not included in your workday. Oh and make sure you clock out during your lunch breaks as well. So not only do you have to sit in a crazy amount of traffic, but you have to clock out for any of their extra incentives or eat lunch. Also hybrid / remote work is not an option.

Pros

QP is always involved in neat events. Slick, glam office with an amazing view. QP is doing interesting, cutting-edge work in the govcon space. Many executives/managers are former military and understand the struggles transitioning service members face and the nuances of the govcon world. Has good connections with SOF, specifically SOCOM. Good benefits. Open to employees learning new skills and growing into new departments.

Cons

More emphasis is placed on image rather than efficacy and improvement as a company. Overall very poor management. Time and resources are spent on events, marketing, and revamping office space rather than on supporting vital departments or training. QP played a constant game of musical chairs with office space, department assignments, department procedures, position titles, and position duties. People fired or reassigned to another department/supervisor without notice or cause. People who were hired were given little training or direction. In many departments, you're expected to be responsive to calls/emails during weekends, vacations, and evenings; and be willing to hop on the computer or come down to the office if asked (essentially on-call 24/7). Sexual harassment (as you might guess from another Glassdoor review for this company) was dealt with in a very lax manner. Knew more than one senior manager that regularly displayed unprofessional if not outright hostile conduct. Pay isn't adequate given expectations and environment.

Thank you for giving us feedback. We appreciate that you took the time to tell us about both the positive and the negative aspects of your time with us. We have long thought of ourselves as a Quiet Professionals family. Sometimes this means dealing with behavior that is not acceptable in a workplace. We have consistently made the choice to protect our team members from unprofessional, hostile, and sexually harassing behavior, even when it involves some hard decisions. For a variety of reasons, those decisions may not always be as timely or apparent as they could be to our employees. Please let HR know if we have not addressed any experiences you had with that type of behavior. Regarding your comment about “musical chairs,” as a growing company, we have a lot of opportunity for individuals to shine in new areas and departments as we try to find the best fit for them. We are also doing a lot of work in retooling processes and re-aligning our focus and resources to fit our expanding scale. We are getting our arms around those issues, including tasking team members outside of normal work hours, but it has been an ongoing process. Again, please contact HR if we have not addressed issues that you had. We are trying to make the growth of our company as seamless as possible, and we value feedback from people within the company as well as those who have left us. Finally, we really appreciate that you took the time to mention that we understand the nuances of the govcon world, have good connections with SOCOM, and understand the struggles of transitioning service members and veterans. We are proud of our business and seek to provide a safe, welcoming environment for our employees. We regret that your experience was not a purely positive one. Thank you for helping us become better. We invite you to speak to HR with additional feedback about any concerns. We are listening.
