      Remuneration was fine and team mates and colleagues beyond distribution

      Cons

      Despite all policies to the contrary: Bullying isn't just tolerated, it's been promoted to management in distribution.

      A role which removes most of your autonomy to make investment decisions

      Good reputation in the marketplace, good IT systems and marketing literature

      Cons

      Investment Managers more like Relationship Managers, are simply told what to do by the Investment Committee (themselves following APCIMS benchmarks). No attempt at outperforming said benchmarks, so really just an expensive form of tracker fund. No attempt at personalising portfolios for clients, all too often clients end up with identical portfolios, despite differing circumstances.
