Pros

Sadly, aside from the central Brighton location and the (and I insist) truly amazing consultant team who work hard every day and make it worth going, this place does not have any Pros.

Cons

Delivery Consultants work under pressure every day, expected to work unpaid overtime, scared to say anything out of fear to be fired. To give an example, everybody in the office wears layers of jumpers and blankets because the office is freezing cold, but because one director claims to be hot, everyone else needs to be cold to the point of constantly being ill. Nobody dares to say anything, even about something so simple, never mind about serious or important issues, cause those who have said something in the past have been shouted at, threatened, or fired. Consultants are expected to send out hundreds of spam messages everyday, having their numbers constantly monitored and are encouraged to lie to clients and candidates to hit target. The directors spend more time talking about how great and how rich they are than caring about the team and the hostile work environment they create. In short, the directors and CEO rule this place through fear, gossip, micro-management, and constant threats. Employees are regularly humiliated, pressured and emotionally abused to the point where they end up crying while the directors laugh about their ‘emotional weakness’. They are currently hiring graduates in bulk, throwing out anyone who doesn’t fit the drinking culture or is willing to take the abuse. Quotacom nurtures an unhealthy and toxic environment and culture as demonstrated by the fact that half the senior staff has left within the last 6 months. I highly suggest listening to the negative reviews and Quotacoms’ bad reputation within the recruitment industry in Brighton. All the good reviews come from current employees being pressured by the directors to write them to compensate for the bad ones.

Pros

-Central location -Early finish on a Friday -Most people who work there are nice

Cons

-The owner and the other 2 Directors only care about themselves -The atmosphere in the office is depressing and everyone who works there feels undervalued and unappreciated -The Business Consultant role at Quotacom is basically a full time email spammer position. Consultants are targeted to send out hundreds of cold emails a week with CV's attached to new prospects who they find on Linkedin. Candidates have no idea that their CV's are being spammed out on an industrial scale.
