Pros

As usual with places like this - somehow they have good people working for a mediocre executive team. i would have given 1 star if it weren't for the people there.

Cons

Poor culture - their idea of improving culture is a once-a-year ice cream social and potluck. Otherwise, employees are watched to make sure they clock in the right hours, there is an awkward silence to the office, and people seem to have lost or never had that drive for excellence. HR is the reason for this and that mediocrity is the expectation. Salaries - they pay middle of the road, intentionally. HR has policies in place to ensure salaries are all paid on a median regardless of performance. And the bonus has not been paid out in any volume in years. No Growth - they keep trying to grow but there's no place to go. They've maxed out their share of the proposal space, and any other product/solution attempt has been futile. They are basically in maintenance mode. Exec staff - lacks leadership and vision. The CEO and a couple VPs have been there for years - which makes one think where the root cause may lay. CEO is a nice guy, but a weak leader who seems to trust the wrong people/information. Weak management - policies are in place to restrict managers from actually using their judgement and treating employees as individuals instead of manufacture workers. So managers become policy enforcers and not leaders.

“Unfortunate” Any one organization is not a perfect fit for every employee. It is “unfortunate” that the fit was not right for you. Having just finished a strong growth quarter by adding dozens of customers and expanding our relationship with another 100, I can assure you that we are not in maintenance mode. In addition, our customer satisfaction is at an all-time high, which is directly related to the product innovations we have delivered resulting in a market leading vision. By the way, the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip was to die for. I wish you the best of luck finding a good fit.

Pros

HR practices seemed to be a strength until I received my final paycheck.

Cons

It is common courtesy and practice to give your employer two weeks notice when resigning. In doing so, you work the dates around start date with new employer and any planned vacation in between before starting a new job. At Qvidian, beware! You give your two weeks, they decide how long they want you to stay, say a week, and then give you your final paycheck which does not include pay for the full two weeks notice you have given. In my 20 year career this is a first! When employers do not need the employees to work the full two weeks, they still pay them for it since the employee demonstrated professionalism in offering a transition period. It also encourages others to continue to provide two weeks notice in the future. I searched and searched and simply cannot find another company who agrees with the approach of not paying the full two weeks.

Pros

Casual work environment this is a low stress 9-5 job. People are friendly and laid back. Many have been working here over 10 years. It is easy to be in office.

Cons

I used to like coming to work and the people were friendly. The morale is badd now and getting worse. Now the sales have tanked for the whole year. Communication isn't good and Sr. Management is not taking responsibility. Good people are leaving. Bonus is based on sales so obviously that will not happen this year.
