You can hide and have an easy life at this company - just repeat the company mantra in meetings and say whatever management want to hear

Cons

It's a failing, boring environment with a CEO and management team whos only motivation is to get the stock up so they can cash out their options. You have to act more dumb than your manager or you will be marked out as a threat. Brown nosing is valued more highly than capability

Pros

A stable company who is a leader in providing quality recombinant proteins. Offers good benefits, especially medical plans. Offers competitive salary for a region where the living cost is low compared to the locations of other competitors.

Cons

New CEO who does not understand how R&D achieved its success, but whose main goal is to raise the TECHNE stock price in order to please Board Members and receive big bonus for himself. New upper management people who are too eager to please the new CEO, but don't have much vision.

None since the new management came in.

Cons

It was a great place to work where people would really enjoy going to work each day. There was a lot of company loyalty but the new CEO has made the environment toxic. Where there was an open door policy before, employees are afraid to make suggestions or speak up for fear of retaliation. The only thing he's concerned with is making the numbers so he gets HIS bonus. Moral is horrible, benefits have been taken away and raises were next to nothing last year and the rumor mill says that there will be no raises this year. But the CEO and Executive management have gotten huge compensations ($2.2 million for CEO) while those of us that are working OT and weekends got nothing.
