Pros

the food is the only good part about this place

Cons

The entire management at RA is corrupt. Going as far as regional managers to even corporate. Every manager is only looking out for their own good and do what they can to manipulate to get their ways. I've never met such an administrative team that talks so much crap and is so fake to and about every employee. They're rude to you and aren't appreciative of anything. The constant retarded coupons and deals leave with no money to be tipped on. Everyone there is a bully.

Pros

None, awful place to work

Cons

DO NOT WORK HERE!!! The General manager Collis harassed me to the point where I decided to not come in. I went from full time loyal hard working employee to doing a no call no show because Collis was opening the next few days. Me and MULTIPLE employees have put in corporate reports through HR and somehow he still works there and nothing has been done.

Pros

if i'm being honest, my pro would be the friends that i've made working here

Cons

I get it, there's going to be difficult moments in any job you have, my BIGGEST issue is you get slammed here with rude customers who wants everything in 30 seconds or less, very demanding and needy.. but hey it happens in a customer driving business such as serving.. but when at the end of your hard shift, you have to tip out as high as $150 between the bussers, bartenders, food runner and sushi chefs...most, if not all restaurants have some sort of tip share/pool policy, its pretty standard but to also have to tip out the sushi chefs, at %5 of all sushi sales, IN A SUSHI restaurant is beyond me... While working at any other restaurant you don't have to tip the person cooking the burgers or making the salad.. but here, after having to wait long for sushi on busy nights, customers get mad because its taking long, only to not tip you because of it, i will end up paying for the customer to eat said late sushi... and imagine a party of 8 or more (which we have SO MANY of those that come in, often times at 10+ per party...) all ordering sushi, lets say $300 worth, $150 in misc NON sushi foods and about $300 in liquor sales and they decide NOT to tip.. well from those numbers a server will have to tip out the 4 people mentioned above ... 5% to sushi ($15) %5 of liquor sales to the bar ($15) .. 2% of total sales to busser ($15) and 1% of food sales to the food runner ($4.50)... well since the company DOESN'T support the idea of %18 AUTO GRATUITY ($135) for parties of 8 or more, I, the server would have ended up paying $49.50 to cover tip out...nevermind the fact that the customer didn’t tip me. how come everyone else's money is guaranteed, but mine isnt... nights like that are extremely hard to deal with on top of the fact that we close super late and the company does not support the idea of a last call, which then means we often have customer hanging out WAAY past closing time trying to order drinks and or food, talking or whatever .. which then makes the work/life balance even harder... you don't make the money that matches the effort, and cant even leave at a decent time to enjoy what little life you have..
