Pros

Free clothes from the current season

Cons

Lack of benefits - 7 days vacation, expensive healthcare, no 401K for the first year Lack of support - the team does not want you to succeed and will act nice to your face but work to throw you under the bus behind your back Lack of feedback - even if you regularly ask for feedback on your work they will say everything is fine and then later, when you ask for a raise, they will say your work is not up to their standards and instead of giving real ways you can improve they will simply say to "do it better" Lack of investment in employees - starting salary was low with a promise of increase after 6 months. Each time salary was discussed a new date was proposed for an increase. They kick the can down the road with salary increases and do not see a benefit in showing employees they want to invest in their success Lack of transparency - similar to the above, promises are often made that never materialize Dishonesty - they will take credit for work you've done or ideas you've had and do not recognize your successes Skewed focus - they do not use sales numbers as a way to determine the success or effort put in to territories. If you work hard to increase sales and put a special focus on a market and numbers go up, they will say that "we cannot be sure that the increase is a result of your work" Disorganized - weekly team calls are never on time. They will regularly text the group and ask everyone to be ready for a last minute conference call in 20 minutes and then not call or communicate for 2 more hours while you wait by the phone Toxic environment - everyone is out for themselves and will do whatever is necessary to push themselves ahead even if that means pushing you down Cheap - they do not look at the big picture and focus on immediate costs rather than seeing what good can happen down the road with an initial investment now. This is true when it comes to investment in the employees themselves and in tools that would help employees (paying for an expensing app instead of making employees spend hours inputing information in an excel sheet and renaming every picture of receipts, paying for company cars instead of making employees fill out mileage reports for every single day of work, paying for reasonable hotels while traveling and increasing the food stipend so employees can comfortably eat healthy while on the road) No real vision of upward mobility within the company - there is no career path, nothing to work towards, no confidence that they will ever help you to move up from the position you start in

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

- Problematic comments made even by VPs at the company loudly in the office (anti trans) - No diversity, not just in terms of race but also backgrounds, identity etc. Run by white men, with a couple white women sprinkled in for optics - Performative - Cliquey - Was brought in with promise of total package equating to certain amount, was given bonus that was 1/5 of promised - Insurance options are few with very low contribution - Limited PTO - No flexibility for remote + office location sucks (no food options nearby) office smells like foul rotting meat from neighboring meat packaging facilities mixed with harsh cleaning chemicals (still see roaches in office, and SO many flies/fruit flies) - Was hired in a specific role but everything I handled was completely unrelated to my role Not sure if the person who said “the company benefits here are unmatched” worked for the same brand or has never had a job with benefits before….

Pros

- great clothing allowance and discount - clothing is easy to wear and sell - company is open to feedback and takes it into consideration - really nice CEO! - decent hours

Cons

- corporate favoritism, leaves retail employees out of all company community building efforts. Treats corp employees better than retail (even with holidays, hours, days off, benefits etc) - left the NY store (busiest store) without a manager for over 5 months - very very long hiring process that left store understaffed and struggling too long - was very mysterious and non communicative with staffing - no bonus structure but expect a very high level of customer service and sales from employees - not enough structure and organization from corporate with retail - management offers ideas continuously but doesn’t not get backed up or provided with the trust to put these ideas into place for stores
