Salary is terrible, not competitive with other firms. The directors have their favorites and do not discipline those who are their favorites. Feels very much like a boys club. Boys get way more opportunity for growth on the investment side and get to participate in golf field trips, etc. CEO doesn't remember names very well even though there are only 40 people and spends time in his office, shoes off on the desk. Some associates sleep at their desk, face down in the middle of the day. A lot of talking behind everyone's back and then being nice to their face. Passive aggressive emails are sent from management down to associates. They claim they "promote from within" but if you are not a favorite this is not true. They are more worried about putting money into their new office they are moving too instead of helping employees not on the investment side grow, and get paid a reasonable compensation. Micro management is very high.
