Pros

The ONLY good thing is that it gets your foot on the door.

Cons

-Severe case of nepotism -Only way to move up is if you're close to the manager -Last two reviews certainly do not seem like they came from past employees -Employees are constantly unhappy -Too much conflict of interest in the company

Thank you for your thoughts. We want to be sure we address them. We want to start by stating that RCTS is a private business independently owned by two families. Nepotism, however, is not our practice. As of April 2018, we have promoted 3 employees based on their performance, with no relation to the owners. Because we are a scientific company, we have a few parameters for promotion depending on what department you work in. However, common traits of promoted employees are mastery of their current position, producing work that is dependably accurate, thorough and good quality and exhibiting both the willingness and the readiness for the next level. Readiness includes dependable work quality, good attendance and overall work ethic. We cannot ascertain nor verify the employment status of the reviews left on Glassdoor as all reviews are given anonymously. What we look for in such forums and in direct dialogue at the company is honest, open communication. This includes encouraging employees to speak with their supervisors and/or management about any issues they might be experiencing in terms of their job or their perceptions. We give our employees a voice in not just their individual work experiences but in many company decisions, from small to large. Thus if any employee has a subject that needs to be addressed, they have many ways here to do so and to be heard. Along with giving all employees an open voice , we strive to convey our regard for our employees by our benefits and PTO offerings, creation of job and training opportunities, and all of the fun little “extras” that are optional but that we truly enjoy providing. We are sorry that your experience did not turn out well, but we take your thoughts seriously and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Great coworkers. Decent benefits. Entry level

Cons

There is absolutely no room for growth. The owner always lies how great his company is when it is really not. You are overworked and underpaid. He demands that you are working every single second you are there. Very low morale.

Where Dreams Fade and Die

Pros

Some coworkers are actually cool to talk to and hang out with. You get the satisfaction of knowing that you actually are employed (even though it's a horrible job) as opposed to the hundreds of thousands out there still trying to find work.

Cons

Bad benefits, no respect from the owner, all staff are overworked and not appreciated, workers are rarely acknowledged for their work., no communication whatsoever between the different departments at work. Everyone is always stressed and unhappy. It's been 4 years and apparently nothing has changed. The owners feed you lies when you first interview for the job, telling you how great of a workplace it is, but all it is is a desolate place where your dreams slowly fade until you're left wondering what you did to deserve this.
