Toxic Work Environment- Stay Away

Pros

I’m not sure really. I got three years data entry experience out of it I guess.

Cons

They are very unprofessional and will overwork you in the Data Entry Dept. This department is the scapegoat. You will be blamed for everything. If you are a hard working dedicated employee you will be taken advantage of. The management has no idea what it’s doing. There’s barely an HR department. They want you to get these results out in like a day or two but as reps increased the sample numbers- the workers were having trouble keeping up and the management will squeeze the most amount of work out of the least amount of people because greed. And when I say the CEOs don’t know what they’re doing I’m not exaggerating. They didn’t know how the data entry department was trained to do the results and how the workflow was set up. Basically- I was asked why I was doing the work the way I did it. And I said that’s how I was trained by the people who came before me. And management said that’s not how it was supposed to be done in the first place. So the management just didn’t check in for like 3 or 4 years and it was kind of like a bad game of telephone. Sales Reps have no idea what they’re doing and make promises to clinics on behalf of the data entry department without consulting the data entry department or the scientists to see if said promises can be fulfilled. Because who cares when you don’t have to do the work and get to go home at the end of the day- unlike the data entry department who has to work longer and longer hours while short staffed. And management will always side with the Sales Reps. This job is terrible for work life balance. They will work you into the ground. Don’t take this job unless you want your hair to start thinning. I swear my hair was thicker before I started working there. Would not recommend this job to my worst enemy.

Pros

None. They pay you, that's it.

Cons

This is by far the worst and most toxic environment I've ever worked in. They dispose of biohazardous waste in trash cans, dump organic chemicals down drains, can't figure out a functional layout to save their lives, and don't even have a compliance or QC officer, Despite all of this, they will demand absolutely perfect work following the worst training you'll ever receive and blame you for every single problem that arises with their poorly-maintained HPLC-MS systems and completely incompetent scientists. The lead scientist is an insufferable bully who has no idea what the hell is going on. They fire someone every month. Unless you are seriously needing money I would highly consider a different route.

Pros

none that i can think of

Cons

I had the unfortunate experience of working for a company that left me deeply dissatisfied and uncomfortable on various levels. The toxic environment and micromanagement were suffocating, making each workday feel like a never-ending ordeal. I noticed this site has a different name for their CEO, the name is a farce. The micromanagement was so extreme that it felt like there was no trust in the employees' abilities. Every task, no matter how trivial, was scrutinized, and the constant need for updates felt more like a lack of confidence in the team's competence rather than a genuine concern for progress. The company's practices to gain new business were not only questionable but downright shady. It became evident that ethical boundaries were routinely crossed in the pursuit of profit. It's disheartening to witness an organization prioritize questionable tactics over integrity and fair play. One of the most distressing aspects of my time there was the CEO's behavior. The insistence on one-on-one encounters, especially after hours, was uncomfortable and unprofessional. The fact that these encounters often involved dinners left me feeling coerced and violated. No employee should be subjected to such situations, and it significantly impacted my overall well-being and job satisfaction. In summary, my time at this company was a regrettable chapter in my career. The toxic environment, micromanagement, and unsettling encounters with the CEO created a work experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. I strongly advise potential employees to think twice before considering a position within this organization.
