It could be better!

Pros

Overall, RX is a decent place to work. The team is wonderful. Smart, sharp, friendly, and dedicated to disrupting the CPG space with an innovative product. I learned so much from my colleagues and am so happy I had the chance to work with them. Another pro: during my time at RX, the work/life balance improved significantly. I no longer felt guilty about leaving before 6pm. However, there is still room to grow here as they aren't super flexible with work from home/remote options.

Cons

I left because I wasn't given further opportunities to grow in my career. We had all been told that professional development plans were in place, but nothing was coming to fruition. RX was a great place to work for a long time but at this point they're truly not doing anything to manage employee retention. I was underpaid and under appreciated and it just became clear that it was my time to leave. There were also a fair amount of people with overinflated titles who didn't have the skills needed to be strong leaders. Huge opportunity for leadership training across the organization. And there is a total lack of diversity which is truly so unfortunate.

Disappointing

Pros

1) Benefits - gym, commute, cell phone, AYCE RX products 2) Working with some great people (who are likely leaving in the next 6 months) 3) Office - nice, modern, great location

Cons

1) Culture - the place is not what it was a year ago. Since the company restructure, there has been a lot of finger pointing, with no one willing to own any of their failures 2) Leadership - this is mainly speaking to some of the VPs/SVPs who were given these titles despite their lack of experience and maturity. Teams are expected to work hard, while these leaders continue to point fingers and offer no solution or aid when things go wrong. Likely, you'll find them texting at their desks or chatting about their 5th vacation they've had this year. I suppose it's hard to provide a solution when you have no idea what's going on with the business 3) Lack of transparency - you're always told you're doing great, at least to your face. Many were promised a promotion but not many have come to fruition, unless you threaten to leave 4) Lack of Diversity - majority of the company is under 30 and female, though executive/senior leadership is more heavily male. You can count with one hand the number of POC that are currently employed here.

Walking on Eggshells

Pros

With the growth, there is opportunity to make a large impact.

Cons

The culture being an amazing thing is something that we talk about a lot in order to try to believe it is true. Leadership team does not support those on their team, fosters a competitive space instead. Teams are overworked. People get let go at a moments notice which creates an environment of fear.
