Pros

There is a really great work ethic from all staff, which makes it a really nice place to work! The management really care and are approachable, I could say this could be because it's a small company, but I've worked in small companies before where this is not the case, so it is definitely a big plus for Radar. The product is constantly being developed and is something I am proud to promote. There is a genuine customer focussed development process, so customers are involved and their feedback is taken into account throughout the development process. Overall, a really lovely place to work, good atmosphere, good product and a strong and friendly team. I would (and do) recommend Radar to anyone thinking of joining us.

Cons

The office is in Leeds centre so parking is limited, however that would be the case anywhere in Leeds, and the train station and park and ride busses are only a 10 minute walk away. If you choose to cycle there is secure underground bike storage and there are showers and lockers on site as well.

Pros

Remote working. Great colleagues. Supportive and good personal development opportunities. Fairly nice benefit options and flexible benefit allowance.

Cons

Communication (or, willingness to listen to and action the greatest concerns of the ground-level staff) is lacking. The company pension contributions are the absolute legal minimum. Salary-sacrifice has been introduced as an option, but the company is not putting any of their own NI Savings into the benefit. Pay review didn't happen in 2024/25, and increased minimally in 2025/26. Feels like the company gives more focus to customer and investor desires compared to staff needs.

Cons
