Pros

+ I guess it’s nice that it’s small and there is still some potential for revenue growth?

Cons

+ Micromanged to a T. Do not expect to spend a single second of your day unwatched or unaccounted for + Any type of change is incredibly slow and unwanted. People seem to always run around claiming they’re busy but nothing of value is getting done + for such a small company, there are significant boundaries and borders between different functions + From previous roles/my own skills, I was underpaid. The benefits are not that competitive. The financials of the business are unknown + Management lacks technical skills. Soft skills are lacking as well. It feels like no one has worked on a large-scale system and it shows + I was hired for an ERP implementation and I spent my whole time at REI asking where the ERP was. So slow moving + I understand having a separation between work and personal, but the people at REI are generally unfriendly when trying to get to know them + Management gave absolutely no direction. The requirements needed changed by the day. Management was more concerned with tracking what everyone was doing and gave no valuable feedback on how to develop or get getter

Pros

There are no pros. The owners are a disgusting group of people who suck the blood out of their employees.

Cons

The CEO works 10 hour works. The time-card is watched as the #1 performance review for all employees. They hire security when they fire. They think because they have a big family and all live off of one company (all have top of the line company cars and houses that are too big for their needs) they can rape the employees and pay them less and less every year.

Pros

Nothing positive to say about this company and the way it is run. Oh, I guess it does provide a good wage, which held me there for a year longer than I should have stayed.

Cons

Small family business run by people who have never had any experience outside of this company, and it shows. They don't value their employees, they value production and the bottom dollar. They have done the same thing for MANY years and don't intent to change anything. Just dumb luck they had a product that sold itself.
