Pros
Upper management really wants to do what is best for the members even if it isn't always perceived that way. I see them actively trying to make things better for us - at least the things in their control. We have cookouts, monthly birthday celebrations, milestone anniversary celebrations, a pumpkin carving contest, an annual corn roast and so much more. And to whomever wrote the review about them removing the refrigerators from the lunchroom didn't stick around long enough to see that they bought us brand new ones!! It seems only the angry peeps write reviews on here because they are, well, angry. They will never be happy anywhere. My prior job treated us hourly members like trash. Here, every person I pass knows my name. And there is always room for advancement if you want it. I was hired as a Packaging Technician and was promoted into Quality. My next move will be Quality Lead or Packaging Lead because I want to help make a difference!
Cons
Not a big fan of Redzone - the real time tracking software that is used. Too many people don't use it correctly.
I think the company does a lot of really great things (they just bought all of us pizza last week), but they need to do a better job of giving people more communication. I don't think any company can ever communicate too much. I see they put shift communication boards in the lunchroom so they are at least trying and listening to the employee feedback.
