Pros

* Flexible working hours: begin between 7am and 10 am, leave between 4pm and 7pm * Work / life balance is a reality and it is very enjoyable * Free fruit twice a week! * Benefits are great ** Lunch tickets, 9€ per day, 11 months a year ** Transport tickets, 72€ per month, 11 months a year ** Health insurance * Personally, I got one salary raise for my yearly performance and then a second one within the same year because the management layer considered that I was below my market value according to some market studies from an external consultancy company. They even improved that a bit! * For people fresh from the university, this is an amazing place to start from; there is a lot of shared knowledge amongst colleagues, great environment, nice people, management layer is really friendly and approachable, good teamwork in the office and fantastic schedule * Before leaving (leaving was kind of a surprise even for me) I shared with the managers my desire to improve in my career and follow a new path. In that moment I saw a lot of encouragement from the managers, support and willingness to help me achieve this new position. The career opportunities are there but you have to take the initiative and ask for it. They will give you advice

Cons

Regarding the project I worked in: * Obsolete technology from almost a decade ago * We were never given time invested in getting rid of the technical debt * We were never given time to upgrade infrastructure to stay up to date with the current version and current security fixes * We were never given time to upgrade the programming language version to benefit from the improvements in performance * So old the technology that we could not solve some bugs coming from external libraries because the newer version of those were either not compatible with our code version or the project had been simply discontinued several years ago Regarding the company: * A lot of people are leaving the company for various reasons. Not always it is something that has to do with Raet itself, but personal reasons or exciting job opportunities

Pros

Nice company to work in. It has a wonderful culture and skilled people. It allows to innovate and try other solutions for the given situation and problems. Salaries are over the average market, which is also fine.

Cons

Maybe some process go a little bit slow and more meetings than desired.

Pros

Raet is able, more than any company I have seen, to leverage the 50 years of deep knowledge in Human Capital management and combine it with a very successful and ambitious business strategy. Moved rapidly from a Dutch traditional company to a company with international presence and impact.

Cons

Fast growth and high ambition requires very good skills from all staff to continuously balance our priorities
