Pros

Co-workers(actual full-time employees). I work with a great group of people outside of management.

Cons

Everything else. Heavy high management that is more concerned with putting a band-aid on problems and sitting in meetings than fixing problems entirely. When opportunity comes about to fix issues, no one wants to put in the work. Very minimal praise when things go well. Any promises for advancement opportunities are never followed thru on. Company values are a joke. Management preaches change and wants employee input but never actually changes anything. Too many temps with bad attitudes leaves actual employees having to fix their mistakes. Pay is very low in comparison to other manufacturing companies. Management pay is outrageous. Yearly merit increases arent based on performance, they’re based on how much money is given to distribute to a department, so everyone gets the same increase or supervisors give favorites higher raises. Don’t bother wasting your time.

Pros

Raining Rose offers a reliable schedule with reliable pay and a reasonable workload. The pay is fairly competitive. They offer some limited room for advancement inside the manufacturing and packaging divisions.

Cons

Unfortunately, Raining Rose was a once solid and reliable employer that now puts their bottom line above anything. Workers in any factory setting are a cog in a machine, but few places make sure one feels it as strongly as Raining Rose. Safety issues abound on the packaging floor, most ignored because repair of them would take down their machines for too long. Concerns about safety are rarely taken seriously by floor management or by human resources. After a report of an incident of violence towards me that I felt a personal threat to my well being, I was reprimanded for my tone in my report, a clear act of retaliation. Mine was not the first sample of this behavior by this company's HR and middle management, and almost certainly won't be the last.

Pros

Clean surfaces, open space, well-organized labeled materials, exactness of quantities, high level of productivity, pride in product, break-room food choices.

Cons

Approximately half of employees on the floor that I observed, seemed to be focused on their work and good team players. The other half seemed to be unfortunately too often engaged with various types of disingenuousness, antagonistic attitudes, and an unofficial policy proliferating and encouraging negative attitudes.
