Pros

Remote work, but they treat it like it is special somehow

Cons

The reputation of this company is a joke and it´s own claims of greatness are exaggerated. As many reviews have mentioned, they force workers into precarious situations without providing any job stability. They step on people, and they should be held accountable, instead they are hiding behind false termination letters. There is a lot of trash talking going on here. Before joining Raketech, I had received multiple awards in my field. I took the Product owner position at Raketech just for kicks, only to learn that my income would be cut by half. After eight years in this field, they questioned my skills and it was laughable. Some individuals in this company regard you as a threat and would do whatever to get rid of you. It took 5 weeks to conduct all of the 3 interviews. Despite being informed differently, entrepreneurship is not welcomed here. Some employees are given the opportunity to "grow" inside the company, while others are not. The on-boarding process was terrible. No one told me how to do anything, so I had to figure it out on my own. People think you are incompetent if you ask how things work around here. You can't win. They claim the company is "remote," but I was recruited in Malta and forced to relocate, only to be terminated during my probationary period. I was compelled to forfeit two years of earned unemployment benefits from my home country. They could not care less. It is evident that the HR department consists of employees who have been with the company for several years, but this does not indicate that they are good at their work. Most Human Resources places you under incompetent managers and take sides. You have no say in anything. It's easy to tell that the HR people are happy with their pay and have no plans to leave anytime soon, yet they are robbing this business blind.

Pros

Decent pay and very good benefits

Cons

C-level incompetence at its finest. Mass firings are a monthly occurrence since their stock has lost 90% of its value in 18 months. They buy businesses outside their core and then have no idea how to run them.

Pros

The benefits, nice office that's all I can think of

Cons

Company lacks vision, people are engaged and then terminated after a few months - seems like they are not sure if role is need but they just employ people. Very corporate and not too many nice people. HR a bit snobs.

Pros

Salary and benefits are average

Cons

I worked at Raketech for a while, and let me tell you, it was a total disaster. This place is so disorganized it’s a miracle anything gets done. Management has no clue what they’re doing—constantly changing priorities, giving vague instructions, and then getting mad when things aren’t perfect. They expect you to work insane hours but never appreciate the effort. The team I was on was always scrambling because no one knew what the plan was. Communication? Nonexistent. Emails went unanswered, meetings were pointless, and good luck getting feedback that actually made sense. The tech we used was outdated, and every project felt like putting out fires instead of building something solid. I burned out fast, and no one cared. If you’re thinking about working here, don’t. Save yourself the stress and find a company that actually has its act together.

Sinking Ship

Pros

Only Pro I can think of is the flexibility.

Cons

Pay is lower than average in the industry. Marked as Remote-first, however it's far from it, unless you live outside of Malta. (Maltese Employees were on Remote contracts, but now being forced to go in the office after spending loads on a newly Office Lease. C-Level has no idea on how to turn their ship around. Literally answering questions related to money making or if their products gonna work with "We are not sure" "We don't know if this will work" "We know we are far behind" Forcing people to go back to office, and creating many in-office events and these "meet & greets" as if its gonna help the company to do better. Benefits are non-existent. The Allowances and Health Insurances Given, are one of the worst in the industry.
