Pros

This is the perfect job for high school kids or college kids who do not need a job but want some extra money.

Cons

Compensation is lower than what they post on job posting sites, lack of hours for everyone except the SM, ASM, MIT, lack of growth, lack of values, lack of care for the employees, money hungry, lack of communication, lack of professionalism, disorganized.

Pros

Unfortunately, there are no pros. Pay is not competitive. Bonus was promised but never given. Benefits are expensive & provide little coverage. No room for growth due to outrageous expectations from upper management. If you are not willing to devote your life to Rally House, you will go nowhere. Enough stress on a daily basis to cause serious heath problems.

Cons

With over 10 years of experience with several retailers, Rally House is by far, the worst company I have ever worked for. Upper management is so disorganized with their direction. Proper communication rarely happens and the company is so focused on growing, that they neglect to properly address and fix current issues that negatively impact day to day operations for Store Managers. The owner of the company is rude & disrespectful. She does not take the time to get to know the managers that run her stores and rarely, if ever, even knows their names. She has zero skill when it comes to merchandising and comes into her stores like a tornado, disrupting everything in her path. She then leaves a huge mess for store teams to clean up.

Pros

- Interesting career in a sports related industry - Some (not many) really nice people work here (Work for Marketing team if you must join this company) - Opportunities to attend sporting events

Cons

- Head Buyers have absolutely no buying experience and cannot grow you in your career. They buy apparel based on the clothes they think are cute but it is not backed by sales data - therefore, you end up with too much inventory that no one wants. - Owners do not care about the people who work for them. They are often incredibly rude and severely lack self awareness. I would also include the COO in this statement even though he isnt a part of the owning family, he is still incredibly rude and unprofessional. - When you go to HR for confidential concerns regarding improper behavior from your leadership, they will go talk to that leadership instead of communicating with you to support you. - There is a buyer who has been on staff a while who makes constant mistakes and gets away with it because she is best friends with the Head Buyer. However, if you make a mistake while learning, you are ignored and treated poorly instead of coached. - Minimum compensation. - Minimal diversity and inclusion
