Pros

The ambition for the products is solid and the enterprise-readiness of the products is improving.

Cons

The "Moose" culture, which is supposed to mean that everyone in the organization is equal and should work as a team, really means that you can't say anything that management doesn't like or agree with, or you are seen as "a bad Moose". People are afraid to point out problems - particularly management problems, no matter how constructively or politely it is done. Compounding the effect of the "Moose" culture, there is little understanding in central roles - including operations, product management, and the executive - of what is happening in the field and what is needed to be successful. The company is managing to succeed despite the leadership team, not because of it.

Pros

Rapid7 offers solid benefits and flexibility, with a somewhat positive office atmosphere. The company provides perks such as global days off, high level health insurance, free lunches and stocked office snacks. Most colleagues are friendly, and the overall culture values work-life balance, even though being part of a global company means you might receive messages at all hours (without the expectation to respond immediately).

Cons

On the downside, new products released without the proper internal systems being set up to complete the request, processes very change frequently,and different business units tend to operate in silos, which creates communication gaps and limits collaboration. Sales leaders can be particularly demanding however the recent changes in leadership may foster are more cohesive collaboration between sales and other departments enabling them to operate as one team instead is Sales VS everyone else.
