Pros

Remote - get to work from home Benefits are ok They give you the equipment Culture is positive - and they seem to care about the employees

Cons

If you have a family, benefits are not affordable There is no case management - it's a call center but they tell you at the interview and throughout training that you will answer minimal calls and it's mostly outbound calls when you are working your cases. Don't drink the kool-aid - no amount of positivity is worth the chaos. Training was extremely lacking, they gave us parts but never put it together. Shadowing never happened so when I went live I had no idea what to do or how to work my cases - turned out I just needed to answer calls, but still did not know how to work what came in. There was not enough support to answer everyone's questions (they put about 100 new people on the floor for launch and we were the only ones answering phones). Constant cry of "you need to be on queue" but the seasoned workers were not. There was some micromanagement and a lot of treating us like children or if we asked a question the leads were annoyed and wouldn't SHOW us what to do just do it and then give us the immediate info we needed. Complete Chaos!

Pros

The pros are on the RareMed side of the business. The RareMed PSC side does not have pros.

Cons

Assertions made during the hiring process were not delivered. The role description was completely inaccurate. Most of the PSC leadership are untenured, unskilled and inexperienced in the roles they are supervising, so they can't or won't help or provide proper guidance. Communication is fragmented, training was grossly ineffective and worst of all, the job is inbound call center, not a case management. Multiple leaders and trainers were asked directly if the job we were training for was actually an inbpund call center and they repeatedly denied it, until launch week when thousands of calls came in and they could no longer hide the truth. Inflexible schedules, restrictive SLAs and metrics, overly restrictive quality policies and no overtime pay. Overtime expectations and requirements but no compensation for it.
