Communication is non-existent. Uncaring and no follow-through.

Pros

- Flexibility of when you work. - Management finally revealed who they are. Mostly because they had to now that we are employees

Cons

- No guarantee of task availability. You can refresh the page for 12 hours waiting for tasks and end up with 4 billable hours for the day. - Max of 8 hours of billable work per day 26 total per week. Designed to prevent Raterlabs from having to provide any benefits whatsoever. - Terrible communication with their employees. Worse than it was when they were called Leapforce and we were contractors. They won't answer simple questions. Instead they provide a canned response. - Tasks are undertimed to where you feel like you're working on an assembly line rushing through them for hours at a time. - Snarky non-answers from admin in the employee chat room. - Bot quality locks for days at a time while you wait for an Admin to review your work which may or may not be your fault. And, don't expect an apology or even an email indicating that there was nothing found wrong with your work, and you were unlocked. - Still treated like an IC even though we are supposed to be employees now.

Pros

Extremely flexible hours. Decent compensation compared to other work from home opportunities. Wage increase opportunities based on length of employment and maintaining a high quality of work. Lots of tools and resources to help you get started. Great community of workers that are willing to help new hires along. Extremely responsive, supportive and understanding management.

Cons

There is a lot to learn and a small amount of time to do it in. The search engine evaluator position used to be a 40 hr per week Independent contractor position. Now we are only allowed a maximum of 26 hours a week and are considered PT employees. Hours are scarce during holidays. Quality reviews happen monthly and amount of work can be limited for poor reviews.
