Seung has really run this company into the ground. Company morale is at an all time low. The company used to be run well when Bill Sturm was the CEO, but since Seung has been taken over, they’ve stopped giving raises and expect more and more output from less and less people. It’s clear that all that matters now is profits and money for the executives, not the rest of the staff. There has been a large turnover of tenured staff recently, and it’s 100% Seung’s fault. He really needs to realize that the good employees are the only reason the company has managed to be successful for so long, and they’re exiting in droves. That tells you all you need to know.

1. Management is very unorganized, lacks communication skills, fails at people skills, and has no structure when coming up with effective training strategies. 2. Litigation Assistants are overworked, expected to work overtime to complete a huge workload, working overtime happens anytime from 3-4 days a week. This takes away the benefit of working from home because work-life balance is stripped away. Also, the firm is still open on Christmas Eve. I could not get over that. 3. The pay was normal since this was an entry-level position, but the problem was after I had worked there for a year and had been asked to do more tasks and responsibilities, I received no raise for the extra work I was being given. This firm does not give out raises. My co-worker at the time asked for a raise since she was also being asked to do more work, and they told her no. 4. The only way to move up in the firm from a litigation assistant is to become a litigation manager. With this role, you will get more "paralegal" responsibilities, but you will have to take on management duties, so not a great firm to be in if your end goal is to become just a Paralegal. 5. If you do decide to take this job, beware that you will be starting with no PTO. The firm works on an earned PTO system. So you have to work a certain number of hours a week to get a certain amount of PTO, and trust me its never enough. Other than being overworked, this is another way I think the firm shows how much they don't care about their employees' work-life balance. 6. It was a huge disappointment when I found out a big chunk of the health insurance and benefits the firm offers to employees would take so much out of our checks. The firm does not pay all of your benefits; there is a portion you will have to pay weekly that will come out of your paycheck. I think altogether I was paying around $200 a week on just benefits, so I was getting paid way less than I thought I would be getting in my paycheck. 7. The turnover rate is really bad at this firm, mostly because of the reasons I already listed. The litigation assistant who worked the longest at the firm had only worked there for max two years. 8. The positive reviews on Glassdoor are misleading. While I was working for the firm, Human Resources asked some employees to post reviews on glassdoor but not sure of the reason.
